The world lost a good and fine man yesterday.  Ray Lux, January 24, 1921 - Nov 5, 2017.

He wanted to go for 100, we were happy for everyday he was here.  The last year was very hard for him  but he hung on with a strength and tenacity I can only imagine.  He was my anchor and though I feel unmoored right now, I'll do my best to keep what he taught me and try to live up to his good example.

He once told me he always wanted to be able to fly.  Fly home to Mom now, Pop.  Rest in Peace.

No matter how prepared you think you are, it’s still tough as hell.

    Hang in there, Brian.

So sorry for your loss Brian. Truly.

Try to remember the happy times as much as you can. Cherish the memories. There is no single right way to get through the loss of a parent. You do whatever you need to do in the coming days. Be good to yourself. That's a start.

I'm sorry, B.  I know you and he were tight.

Your parents raised a good son - they'll always speak to you (and probably you to them).
