    I think this is the first instruction Trump has tweeted which is a measurable call to action, asked of the American people. For better or for worse, it'll be interesting to see whether this has any tangible impact on game attendance. Of course, my hope is that it produces no impact and that Americans cling closer to freedom of speech than they do to blind allegiance to a country's leader and his absurd notions.

    If some right wing lunatic shoots up or tries to bomb an NFL game, it's not because a player is protesting. It's because the fucking President stirred the pot about that protest and legitimized a call to protest these games, fire the players, and incite retribution for their actions.

    He talks as he always has: like some half drunk, smug, loudmouth yapping in the pub about things he doesn't know anything about.

    Lebron calling him a 'bum' is one of the best things I've read in a long time- it was perfect. He is a bum. The comment showed as much disrespect as should be demonstrated.

    I think, even though it might not appear as such, the bum is actually managing to unify the US more than he is dividing it. A national embarrassment that everyone is coping with in some way or another.

    We have a local guy that had moved here from Arizona many years ago. He retired and moved back to Arizona with his Canadian wife. He became a hard core right wing 'nutty' type: slamming immigration and Obama every chance he could on social media. We were a little taken aback. He has moved back. After ripping Obamacare... it turns out they could not afford medical and needed to get back to Canada where their bills would be paid by public health care. 

    * Do any Trump supporters even come to this thread anymore? It's become a piling on thread. I'm okay with it, but I wish those fools would appear every now and detail their mindset so we can at least gauge people's commitment to stupidity or their learning process as they acknowledge their error.
