Yup. It's insane. Even Mondo doesn't try charging that much to ship records to Canada.

True but with Mondo these past few months with DHL they are getting hit with customs fees with Canada Post. Might be under $20 bucks to ship a vinyl with Mondo but you'll get hit with $15+ plus with customs / service fees. Been hit lately ordering vinyl from them this past year. While back I was never hit, maybe why the cheap shipping Mondo offers. Vinyl arrives pretty fast though in 2 weeks with tracking #.

I still haven't placed an order for the Vault vinyl. Tough to hit the process order button for a vinyl that's gonna cost me $119 CDN total.

I've always used their USPS shipping option, but it appears they might have removed that. I never use DHL shipping, as DHL adds their handling charge and they always change sales tax, even if the item wouldn't have tax charged upon delivery.

They changed. When they send you their tracking # it's shipped by DHL, which is later past over to Canada Post here. Same with Bottleneck, but for posters it's a hit or miss on customs when past over to Canada Post.

I need confirmation as to if LP2 will be available at record stores/on amazon. That 12 dollar shipping is BRUTAL and I'd prefer to avoid that if this is a wide release.

DHL worldwide is same thing as UPS mail innovations, nothing to do with that. Customs has just amped up since trump, ive had way more usps items charged duty lately. I asked the post office and mail person and they said its almost doubled lately.
If its delivered directly by dhl its even cheaper than by usps if it gets hit because you can self clear with dhl but you can't with Canada post.

Got the email & was online w/n a matter of minutes and unable to buy a CD - just not sure how that is remotely possible for the expected demand.....

I can't see a pre-order selling out that quickly for a CD, I think it's just a bug. It was up and then down, now back up and say's out of stock, doesn't add up.

I'm sure it's a site error like pjsteelerfan mentioned. And they'll have these elsewhere in stores like the PJ20 soundtrack.

Yeah I'm gonna be really peaved if they sell for big bucks on the secondary market...
