    Not sure why the Donald Trump thread was closed but here are the latest tweets that still won't lead to the impeachment of President Trump.....

    The Fake News Media will not talk about the importance of the United Nations Security Council's 15-0 vote in favor of sanctions on N. Korea! How much longer will the failing nytimes, with its big losses and massive unfunded liability (and non-existent sources), remain in business?  I think Senator Blumenthal should take a nice long vacation in Vietnam, where he lied about his service, so he can at least say he was there.

And for someone who completely dodged the draft entirely to publicly shame someone who served, albeit stateside, is just disgusting. It's in line with previous statements he's made about joking about the getting the purple heart and saying Mcain's not a war hero yada yada yada. I don't understand how any vet can support this clown.

    I was expecting the "but he owned up to it and apologized" bit. Im sure he was truly sorry in his heart and owned up to it prior to being called out as a fraud. Here is how I rate it, worse being first, how would you rank the three?
    1 Draft dodgers plunging us into needless endless wars
    2 Stolen valor frauds
    3 Draft dodgers calling out/shaming stolen valor frauds

    Exactly right. I would dodge a draft since I don't believe in conscription, and think forcing young people to kill others for illegitimate reasons is an atrocity. But I also wouldn't be calling out people who did serve. And I'd never put myself in a position to command a military that I actively worked to avoid being a part of.

    When I took my son to register for the selective service I made it clear that if the draft ever was re-instituted we'd leave the country. No way would I let me son be forced into service. He's free to sign up (although we'd have a lot of conversation around that), but fuck conscription.
