President Trump just tweeted this. Here is the latest President Trump tweet folks........
We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return! As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!

And how would this "new" plan be different than the one just shuttered? They could have made this terrific new plan from the start. His 4d chess is just over my head I guess.0 -

I can't say if I like this picture best of all the great shots taken of this pud with his little orange hands.
Poopy pants was a good one. That one where he was picking boogers was a good one. The ones where Melania looks like she is about to vomit after he touches her are interesting. But the nature of this one is classic: "Vroom. Woo woo. Coming to the rescue!""My brain's a good brain!"0 -
I don't think this repeal and replace fiasco will work out too well for Ryan and McConnell, especially McConnell.

McConnell has always said, get the votes and we'll get things done, now some are calling his integrity to question.
Ron Johnson told the Green Bay Press-Gazettethat the legislation’s changes to Medicaid were reasons for uneasy conservatives to support the bill. But he said that McConnell was representing the Medicaid overhaul as a façade, though he didn’t cite examples. “If our leader is basically saying don't worry about it, we've designed it so that those reforms will never take effect, first of all, that's a pretty significant breach of trust, and why support the bill then?” Johnson asked.
The Washington Post reported last week that McConnell told Sens. Rob Portman and Shelly Moore Capito, who both represent Medicaid expansion states, that the legislation’s “deepest Medicaid cuts are far into the future” and won’t ever see the light of day. A former GOP lobbyist and Capitol Hill staffer quoted by the paper mentioned an adjustment to Medicaid’s funding formula in the year 2025, specifically. An aide to Johnson told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the Wisconsin Republican confirmed reports of McConnell's comments in conversations with colleagues.

An adage in sport is: nobody remembers who came second.
With so little to celebrate, Trump and his gaggle of fools need to constantly relive the moment given it's the only success this team has had."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

from The Hill
The Democratic donor class is abuzz about Kamala Harris after the freshman California senator was feted this weekend at an event in the Hamptons surrounded by top fundraisers.
The Bridgehampton event, where Harris mingled with top donors and supporters of Hillary Clinton, was the ultimate signal that Harris is "thinking much bigger" than the Senate, one top bundler said.

Strong possibilities: Warren, Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, Cuomo,
Long shots: Cuban, Sandberg, O'Malley (I don't know why you hate O'Malley), Kaine
Older candidates: Biden Sanders
Someone else has plenty of time to emerge as well.
