The Hawaiian flag I can understand, same with the "23" (Jordan's # and the day of his birthday), it's just the picture of his guitar pick I don't understand. He's never been one for self promotion, and you'd think that his autograph would be sufficient enough.
The autographs are awesome though. The biggest problem will be to choose which side to display
It'll be interesting to see what the LizzieAlive board will go for now when it goes up for auction in the next few weeks now that it has Kelly Slater and Co's signstures on it as well as Ed's

And no.....it is going up on the wall. We had actually discussed a while back that if another board like this ever came up for auction, I'd go for it!!! It's a pricelss piece of art IMO!! Some people spend a fortune on a painting - I was prepared to spend a lot more for this, than I ended up getting it for.
I WAS going to take it out for 1 surf - just to give it a burl in the Indian Ocean, but I would say the autograph etc; would come off.....so it's staying on the wall. I want a descent copy of the photo of Ed with it, too, so I can frame it and hang it with the board.

hhmmm - ok and as a sad follow on to that post - our week in kiama was great - lots of sun (too much for me - nice & burnt by sunday, but thanks to my (questionable ) bloodlines it is now brown) - lots of saltwater, and a hella lot of walking up nearly 90% angle hills - i swear my thighs and my butt have never had such a good workout in my life!
and for some reason we discovered kiama has quite a few poor unfortunately named souls:
