Just checked out the Defend Oahu Coalition website and it says that it's not a registered charity so all donations aren't tax deductible
At least you got the board though(or MINE
) I'd just thought it would be a little bonus if we could, but didn't really expect that we'd be able to.
I'm just so happy that besides the fact I managed to win it (WAAAAY under the budget we'd set for it) but the money is going to great causes - makes it all the better
Still waiting to get a definite quote for shipping....UPS or USPS will be the way to go. FEDEX site said it's too large?? and DHL quoted US$1300  USPS were not even a quarter of that.
Oh and trust me....I'm VERY tempted to go pick it up......only problem is that it'd have to be a super quick trip, cuz I'd have to leave the kids with Mum and couldn't do that for long. Tis a long way to go for a weekend!0 -
ozsmalltowngirl wrote:LOL! As long as I don't make a mistake and post the photo of me naked and humping it like a dog
I wonder if Ed's written any songs whilst sitting on it? *sigh*
Hee heeee!!
I'd be kicking my guy out of bed each night and sleeping with the surf board instead.
I wonder if Ed's ever surfed naked on it?Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -
