3.5 yr olds staying all day...? really? i wonder how they'll cope sounds like Maddi may fair ok in that department? awww.. but not mum
It is!!! Lucky Bianca
The lunch box is purple with Bratz on the lid - we couldn't find a Barbie one - but it's OK, cuz her little lunch box esky thing has Barbie on it
Yeah....Maddi will be fine all day, but a lot of the other kids still have afternoon naps, so that should be interesting. In any case, weather they're 'ready' for school or not, at that age, after a morning at school, their concentration span after lunch time is just about zilch. It's far more beneficial for the child to do 1/2 days.
There's also the benefit of (when doing 4 x 1/2 days) the child getting into a routine. I'm really not happy with this change, but there's nothing we can do - it's out of the schools hands.
So i'm in bed reading The Face by Dean Koontz and i read this:
Here on December 21, the Muzak play list included no Christmas tunes. Most likely, the mall management worried that "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" or even "Jingle Bell Rock" would deeply offend those shoppers of non-Christian faith, as well as alienate any highly sensitized atheists with money to spend. Currently the system broadcasts an old Pearl Jam number.
i think cool and read on:
This particular arrangement of the song had been preformed by an orchestra with a large string section. Minus the shrieking vocal, the tune was as mind-numbing as the original, though more pleasantly so.

i agree on getting them into a routine.. sorry they don't do that :( specific to that kindy or all of them?
I'm excellent Miss Stella, and I had an excellent time. I only nearly got bashed once, which was good, and even that wasn't my fault.
Highlight of the weekend - The dodgem cars at Movie World
We were standing in line (Brendan, Nathan, Sam and myself) to get on the dodgems and Brendan turns to the 3 of us and says "We should pick out a little kid and target them". We all agreed straight away and Nathan proceeded to instantly point out this little boy who couldn't be any older than 13.
To make a long story short, this kid got the holy hell smashed out of him.
That dodgem story had me in absolute fits!!!! I was dying to get on here and tell everyone what the 4 of you had done, but thought it only right to let one of you tell the story...CLASSIC!!!
Was also glad to hear you made up for crashing early on Friday night Bloody hell! Your blood must be 90% alcohol atm  LMAO!!
Spewing about the chicky babe :( Glad you had the sence to get outta there though.
sounds gooooood. and how many times was Brendan nearly bashed LOL
Brendan is smart enough to not get himself into stupid situations He's also smart enough not to hang with women who are missing the connection that links their brain to their mouth

Yeah sounds like she was pretty rude.
Unlucky, hun :(
Weather was pretty ordinary. Temperature was fine and water temperature was fantastic, but we lacked sunshine, and there were quite a few short, annoying rain showers :(
Night Stella
I won't be far behind you. I'm desperately trying to kill my insomnia  I'm even on the decaf.....after mid day, it's the real thing before then
It seems to be helping a bit....have been getting to bed by 1:30 at the latest. It's only been about 5 days, but I'm hoping.

Yep (07) is QLD, and no it wasn't me
Got home just after 1am. Working 6-3 today
Everything good?
uhoh.. hope it's a quiet day !!!!!
and how are you mr. rob?
I did have a couple of drinks tonight, but not anywhere near the amounts that I've been drinking over the past few nights
P.S. The worm in a bottle of tequila does absolutely nothing and has the same consistency as perfectly cooked penne
hehehe good.. your body will thank you at work for the 'night off'
:eek::eek:
so many myths about the worm.. i heard it was a marketing ploy?
So do I :(

I wouldn't be surprised if that theory was spot on. You can also buy tequila now that has a little scorpion in the bottle instead of a worm
yes... !

really? anyone game to eat that?
you get some nice weather?
