    There's a yawning chasm between triggering and provoking someone. If the NRA is dog-whistling for violence based on race & political views, they're toeing the line of hate crime / terroristic threats. No surprise coming from an organization with a symbiotic relationship with terrorists like the oath keepers, michigan militia, 3%s. The Right continues to try to drag the Left down to it's level.    

    As of late, it seems like the Right have only been responding to Left wing violence.  Is that their excuse now, that they were provoked (triggered) and cannot contain their violent tendencies?  
    If you provoke someone towards violence, don't be surprised when you get punched in the nose. Everything about this video is intended to tickle your lizard brain, designed to add fuel to the fire, rather than try to de-escalate some imaginary problem. 

    The right is responding to fear mongering and having their stupidity exploited for political and financial gain. See also: "regulations kill jobs", "healthcare is socialism" & "voter fraud".

    Any question that the NRA had transformed from a civil rights organization into a full on far right white nationalist group evaporated in the deafening silence of their nonresponse to the Philando Castile verdict.
    It has been pretty clear from the start, but yeah, their silence on that case has been deafening.
    There have been a lot of members that have spoken with their $ about this and verbally condemned the lack of response.  Castile did not deserve to get shot and no justice was serviced by the legal system in that incident.  The NRA truly need to get some new PR people in there. They are truly only good at lobbying these days.  There are plenty of lesser known gun rights organizations out there that handle their shit better than the NRA.  Regardless, I still think it's funny how many people were "triggered" by the mostly non-substantial video above.

    It may be a legitimate term, but that doesn't mean you're using it correctly.  
    I don't think I use it out of context when describing "triggered" emotional responses from non-substantial videos.  Similarly, my eye rolls are triggered by the triggered emotional responses.  
    "Triggered" does not equate to "people who disagree with me". Yeah, you're using it incorrectly.

    I honestly fail to see how this nra video supports white supremacy or even violence.  I thought it was a pretty good ad in terms of trying to recruit more people to join the nra and in the same breath criticizing the left.   Isn't it ironic that some of you  criticize this ad but support kathy gifford's recent attempt at "art"?

    Where is the hate against large groups of people in the ad?
    People can think something is art and still not be in support of it, just like I can agree that the US army has lots of bombs and not be in favour of how they are used. I'm not sure why the distinction is difficult to understand.
