The Growlers. I think they've been around for a few years and have an album or two out but been hearing this song recently by them and it's really good and catchy. Also Julian Casablancas produced their latest album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p50R8rkzkhk
Seeing them in october. Great band

Mountain King...the front man is a friend of a friend and delivers my mail some time. They have an album on Spotify and they just added a 4 song ep today.

I saw them open for Band of Horses last year. Their music didn't really do it for me but they were super nice guys. We talked to them at the merch table after the show.

I may have mentioned these guys before, but Gang of Youths are an Australian band with a very charismatic lead singer. They are superb live. Their lead singer did a solo support of Chris Cornell's last Australian tour.

Not a new band (seems to have formed in 2002?), but new to me: ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. <-- Yeah, that's the band name, lol. Anyway, just stumbled upon them today on Spotify, and actually they're very good! And they have several albums, from 2002 to 2014.

In his latest book, Before the Chop III, Henry Rollins goes to to Chile and discovers some great Chilean rock bands.  I've got some of this stuff on order and am totally STOKED and can't wait for the to show up.  Here are a few samples:
