New?! Okay kind of… they are incredible.

I will add The Swell Fellas! I only found them because of Spotify’s ‘Discover Weekly’ playlist. Less than 10k monthly listeners.

So so good. They give you an All Them Witches kind of droning melodic rock sound with elements of punk and a lighter voice that has twinges of Layne Staley sounds throughout.

Edit- I would probably start with the songs Wet Cement or Death Race

Nat Myers- This dude opened the G.Love show I had seen last night. Kinda folksy/bluesy country singer songwriter. He might be a little twangy for some peoples likin’, but I really enjoyed his set. He was pretty funny and has an affable personality as well. Check him out!

Sleep Token randomly came across this band. Can't even really describe them. They are from the UK and are very mysterious (Kinda like the band Ghost, they were masks). Even their music is different. Everything from prog rock, indie rock, metal, alternative, etc...

I started a thread last week but I'll add him here as well - these 2 songs by Hector Tellez Jr. are kick ass!

Both of these songs feature Peter Buck and Barrett Martin, and the studio versions also feature Krist Novoselic on bass

I've been listening to a Spotify playlist called New Punk for Weird People (Idles, Viagra Boys, Yard act etc) which is pretty great. Has turned me onto a lot of newer bands.
