    What can I say about today?? Spent most of the day down the beach :D
    Weather was brilliant today. It reached 32*C here and the water was beautiful!! A little bit cold at first, but it's always like that :)
    Actually the only time It wasn't like that for me was when I went on a P&O cruise and one of the places we stopped at was a place called Mystery Island. The outside temperature was 37*C and the water temperature was 30*C :eek:

    Hey jammers..... finally made it home after another massive weekend!!! Very ordinary grand finals this year unfortunately, but still managed to get royally shitfaced for both events, as well as a mates 30th on saturday night :eek:

    Trudes and Sam, are you guys going on friday night??? And the boys are gonna be playing the Wallaby a fair bit I see..... shame i'm moving in 3 weeks..... to within stumbling distance of that pub!!!!! :D

    Wales?? Your guess is as good as mine mate. At least the coach got the boot after the game. There's rumours that they want me to take over, but I haven't got the time with all these shows and meet-ups coming up ;)

    Cant believe u went swimming...
    When my daughter was at High School she always went for a surf to mark the start of Spring even tho the water was probably about 10 deg..LOL

    Made my way down to Ticketmaster at 2am, and was surprised to see about 15 people in front of me in the queue (5 of them had been there since 4pm!!). I was armed with my laptop, my mobile phone (to enable internet connection on the laptop) another mobile which I'd bought yesterday, food, drink and a blanket.

    There I settled for the night while the rest of them drank beers and listened to music. The queue started to grow at around 6am, until at around 8.30 there were about 100 people behind me.At 7am a bloke near me spewed his guts up :(

    At around 8, I decided to hedge my bets and decided to try and enlist the help of some of you on here :) (sorry for disturbing you Brendan & Woz, I knew you would've helped if you could)
    At 8.45, I logged onto the Ticketmaster website, and at 9am the doors opened and we all piled into the office. I have never seen such a slow speed at processing tickets in my life :mad: The line didn't move AT ALL!!! While this was going on I was trying to buy tickets online, but couldn't get through :(
    At 9.05 I decided to use my last option, the new mobile I'd bought yesterday. I dialled Ticketmaster and waited on hold for a minute until I heard the man on the other end say "Hello, Ticketmaster. How can I help you?"
    I have never spoken so quickly in my life. Well, I managed to luckily get 3 seats (1 for me, 1 for Hin and 1 for his friend) the unfortunate thing is that they're not together, and they're at the back.
    As I was giving my credit card details, the call came up that the show was sold out!! 8 minutes is all it took!!
    I'm so glad that I was fully prepared because there was still 4 people in front of me waiting to buy tickets!!

    After I made my way back outside there were plenty of pissed off people swearing at the top of their lungs. I walked away with a grin on my face.
    I'm going to see Rage Against The Machine!!!

    Hi Miss Stella and Suz.... how are you both?

    Dad is doing a bit better actually..... is starting to come back to his old self a little, but is still refusing to go to the doc :( of course, it's hard to really tell just from talking to him on the phone..... just going by what our step mum and other family have told us

    I think there were tens of thousands of people who missed out on tickets so I was pretty lucky.
    So glad Pearl Jam aren't 'popular' anymore :)
