No words..........late PJ bloomer- what was I doing in the 90's that I didn't know who Pearl Jam was???0

So stunned to hear this news this morning. cried in my car listening to the reports. I was never the biggest Soundgarden fan but enjoyed Audioslave and his solo work. 52 still too young. So sad for his family and friends. RIP Chris.0

I haven't posted on the forum in quite a while, but today I feel compelled. I'm very shocked by this news. I would always play his music loud in my living room & if I had friends over I'd try to introduce them to Chris Cornell's voice. I used to pick a song and say "here is the voice of a angel." I just listened to TOTD album 10 times or so last week, he truely was a great artist and one of a kind vocalist. I'll miss him. RIP.0

Very, very hard to comprehend this. Chris was such an icon of music for my (and a lot of our) generation. I am glad that I was able to see Soundgarden last week in Indianapolis. RIP Chris and much love to his family. May they all be able to get through this hard time.

I have TOTD in my car CD player right now, not sure that I can let it play once I go to drive to work. So thankful I got to experience them in Philly last year.
I've always seen Chris as a 6th member of PJ, this is so sad. RIP.0 -
Not a fan of SG but no one can deny his talent and overall nice-guy attitude and spirit. He will be dearly miss. Sympathy to his family and fans, we'll al be listening to him in memory.I'm like an opening band for your mom.0

so sad, this has affected me more than the loss of any other musician. I really feel for his family right now. Also
know Eddie and Matt in particular are going to be affected deeply by this. such a sad loss of amazing talent.0 -
Found dead with a BAND AROUND HIS NECK
WHAT THE FUCK, CHRIS?

say hello to Andy. :(If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?0 -
I cannot believe this shit. Unbelievable. I'm so honored to have seen Chris, in Detroit in 2004 for AudioSlave. Beautiful man, beautiful talent. Whatever demons chased him in recent years, I hope he's at peace.
Just so shocked.~*~Me and Hippiemom dranketh the red wine in Cleveland 2003~*~
