    It's bloody great and good on her.....they wouldn't offer it to her for nothing....she's obviously good at what she does and has earned it :)

    Sounds like Glenn's job ....he only tried the ol' "poor me' once and I slammed him down ;) He's up in paradise, with no-one to have to look after but himself, getting totally buff and tanned, getting paid ALOT!!!!
    He has morning smoko, lunch and tea at the casino....everything is paid for....had a day off today and they all got taken on another island tour. All alcohol is duty free and he's pissed every friggen night......I don't doubt that when he's working, he's working hard and it's long hours and they only get a day off every month or so.....but I'll swap happily ;)

    I think he's going to find it hard to come back to his usual work place when they've finished this job.

    Difference is that Mum will be doing 1/2 the work that she does here, plus on top of that $200 a day, she'll also be getting paid her regular wage.
    the NZ government must be hard up for mammographers if they have to get some from Australia to go to the Cook Islands

    That's great!!! and once again Good for her....I hope she gets some time to enjoy the islands while she's there.

    You forgot one other benefit of her job (she might not see it as a benefit - but I'm sure you would ;) ) She get's paid an extra $200 a day to play with Boozies :)

    Glenn's done well....he gets back on the 17th (well it's just after midnight, so technically 18th) for the concert on the 22nd and then he comes back again about a week before we fly over to QLD. Unreal :)
