I certainly do know what it's like.....Glenn doesn't do a hell of a lot around here, but the few things he does do are the things that I just can't do (coz I'm flat out with other things -usually when cooking tea etc;) so having to do it all alone can be a bit draining at times. I've just had to accept that it's no biggy if I don't get everything done when I'd like it done
Kathy's daughter had cerable paulsy.....she was such a gorgeous girl and Kathy's life totally revolved around her, as you can imagine.....she's pretty lost now
It would have to be the saddest news I've ever had and I certainly haven't been the strong Kylie that I usually am in these situations, today. My eyes are so sore and I think it'll be early to bed for me.0 -

*HUGE HUG*
As I said earlier, it's better out than in. As soon as you decide to bottle things up then that's when things start to fester. Cry your heart out Kylie. It helps

Mum's birthday today........I suppose she'll want a present :rolleyes:0

Forgot....no....it wasn't the flu-A. Sarah was pretty susseptable to bugs, I think because of her condition?
I feel so for Trudie and Andy, but was so relieved to read that she understands that it's no-ones fault (Nook and Ash included)....it is definitely natural instinct (as Rob mentioned same with cats) and doesn't mean that they are any less gorgeous and loveable- they're only doing what is natural to them and it's just something to be aware of.
Poor Lukin.....I can relate there....my Mother In Law is like that we've had susspicions for a long time that there's something going on with her health, but she's the kind of person that wouldn't even tell my Father in law if there was something wrong.....when they were moving into their new house last year, she blacked out in mid conversation with my FIL and he rushed her to hospital.....he still has no idea what was (or is) wrong, because she told the Drs not to tell him.....she's a stubborn cow, but if anything ever happened to her, it would kill me.....she's as much a Mum to me as my own Mum.....she loves worrying and looking after everyone else, but doesn't like to 'bother' anyone to do the same for her (as if it's a bother)
I really hope Lukin can find out for sure if his Dad is OK.0 -

Oh I have babe....don't you worry about that
Have managed to get Maddi to spend a lot of time up at the sand pit and club house today so she wouldn't see and get upset.....there was no choice----them tears were gonna flow weather I let them or not
Feel exhausted tonight though.
I just find it so frustrating....every day you see stories on the news about murderers, rapists, drug trafficers etc. and they'll all (well most of them) go on to live a long life.....and yet not only has an inocent child gone and won't have a life, but there's also all her loved ones that are left behind.
I think it also hits hard, being a Mum myself.....if anything ever happened to any of my kids.....I just couldn't imagine being able to go on.
Not going to get into a 'religeous debate' and I also wouldn't want to direspect anyone.....but it's things like this that really confirms my beliefs.0 -

I know what u mean.... Its like couples that would do anything to have a family yet there are all these ppl with kids that abuse them and treat them bad and yet they continue to breed like rabbits....
How old was Sarah?......... I think ppl with cerebal palsy dont normal live very long its part of the condition. Its very sad.......So sad for her mum and family. Her mum would be feeling so lost without her.......
Did u have to make anything for the Fathers Day stall at the kids school Kylie??0 -

No Dad;s Day stall at our school....we've only got about 40 (max) kids in the school....the boys both made presents - brought them home yesterday
Unfortunately Glenn won't be here
We made him a DVD last week.....he's gonna love it ! Really funny! I know it'll bring a tear to his eyes, too
He should get it tomorrow (hopefully) 0 -
LOL!!! Is there no pleasing you ?! Not so long ago, you wanted her to go back up to QLD (only hours after she'd come home)....LOL!Oz Jammer wrote:She's gonna be in the Cook Islands for 2 weeks 'working'
Maybe that's her present to you - she's getting outta your hair for 2 weeks
