I saw The Tea Party last night at the Commodore Ballroom. WOW. What a great show!!!!!! That was my first time seeing them.... I won't ever miss another one. Jeff Martin has an insanely good stage presence and communicates with the audience so much, which I love. I didn't realize the band is so engaging on stage. They also played around with covers in a cool way- they used tags at the start, middle, and end of songs. Surprise little appearances of U2, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd songs. Also a couple of those cool sing-along moments that every PJ fan enjoys - the whole shebang. Super duper fun. :)

Isn't that nice? I am thrilled to have not paid more than face for any of the shows I am going to this summer also. I even took it a step further and purchased nosebleed and lawn tickets in a few instances. = more concerts for less ;)

Yeah. I was really surprised by the setlist. I prefer it to the Miami and New Orleans so far.
of course "Subterranean Homesick Alien", "House of Cards", "Pyramid Song", "Iron Lung" are my favorites off their respective albums.
I have been going to their shows since 1995 and I was really impressed on Saturday. Jackpot
