I had one in my cart, proceeded to checkout, and then balked.

Thirty bucks to ship a book. I don't need the book that bad. It would be a cool item though. Maybe I'll change my mind later?

On sale now!!! OF POTATO HEADS AND POLAROIDS DELUXE EDITION PRESALE $74.99 https://pearljam.com/shop/featured-items/of-potato-heads-and-polaroids-deluxe-edition-presale

    DELUXE EDITION
Book enclosed in a hard fabric-covered slipcase
Includes a signed photo print from Mike McCready

Ever since the legendary band Pearl Jam was first created, its lead guitarist, Mike McCready, could always be counted on to have his trusty Polaroid camera at his side. He went on to document years of touring, meeting scores of his heroes, spending time with friends, experiencing art, nature, and architecture. Not one to take things too seriously, Mike often brought along his pal, Mr. Potato Head and would ask celebrities, friends, and strangers alike to take a Polaroid photo with him. Needless to say, Mike got endless strange looks and creative poses in response.

From the hills of Hollywood to our Nation’s capital, and from the capitals of Europe to the Pacific Rim islands, Mike has traveled the world many times over photographing one inspiring moment and experience at a time, adding visual piece by piece to the vast tapestry of his life’s interests and passions.

With intimate images of not only his Pearl Jam bandmates behind the scenes at venues, jamming together in someone’s living room, or taking it easy at the beach, Mike also captures an eclectic mix of athletes, musicians, and celebrities including an elated Venus Williams, a goofy Jimmy Fallon, and a menacing Henry Rollins among many other stars. Mike also trained his lens from the stage at countless Pearl Jam concerts and photographed legions of adoring and jubilant fans.

Of Potato Heads and Polaroids makes Mike’s life a little more fun and real in an increasingly digital world. He thinks it’ll do the same for you.

The latest PJ Twitter account posted a half-hour ago "Today we are Citizen Dick". Not sure if that hints at anything or is just nonsense.

A few posts referenced the deluxe being limited? I didn't see that in the description. Is it limited like in the sense limited to the number of people who pre-order it? Or is it really limited? Trying to decide if the signed print is enough to push me to get it.

Who cares if it's limited? You're basically getting an autographed photo from Mike for $45. That's a bargain all day long.

This is my feeling too. How cool.

I dont typically collect autographs, because I feel like I dont wanna invade anyones personal lives, its not about THEM, its about the music for me...but this is freakin awesome.

    Its 100% handsigned.

And honestly if ur into signatures, PJ.com and charity stuff (tom tomorrow etc) is the only way to get legit signed PJ stuff without asking them in person. So many fakes on ebay and other sites

I care if it is limited because if I can spend $100 2 months from now and get it vs $100 now and wait 3 months, I'd rather save up and spend that $100 a few months from now.
But if it is truly limited, I wouldn't risk it running out.
That's what annoys me about the vault vinyl pre-orders. Pay now and get it shipped in 6 months. But when they stopped doing the limited versions, I just pay right before it is released.

Agreed. Other than Stone's paintings/posters a couple years ago this is the only guaranteed legit autograph purchase for a reasonable price I remember seeing in a long, long time.

They had the signed Stone single a few years ago for $10.
