I can't decide if I want to spend $140 - $200 CAD for a Tom Petty ticket.... Who has insight into Tom Petty concerts? Are they especially amazing? With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

I saw Petty with Stevie Nicks @ Boston Garden in the 80's . Great show back then. . The current tour is with Joe Walsh. When the tour starts google the set list and you tube clips . That should help you decide. class="Quote" rel="PJ_Soul">I can't decide if I want to spend $140 - $200 CAD for a Tom Petty ticket.... Who has insight into Tom Petty concerts? i've seen every petty tour since 1986. it comes down to whether you are a fan of the music, or not. there isn't a big light show and/or mega pyro or fireworks to help determine if it's a great show or not.0

Thanks to those who encouraged me, lol. I grabbed a single ticket for Tom Petty, Vancouver, August 17th. First row of the balcony, halfway down the side. Not a bad ticket for $55 less than the lower bowl... I think $146 for a balcony seat is ridiculous though. I didn't doubt that I want to see him, it's just that it seems way too expensive - balcony tix should never be over $100 IMO!Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Yeah, it's going to be strange isn't it? I much prefer Ryan in smaller venues, I hope he's not 'lost' in that aircraft hangar!catefrances said:
