Saw Ministry in MSG as a support band and it didn't go over very well, that could have been because everyone was there to see Slayer though?
I will admit that I saw Ministry last year and they were truly great. We have seen Slayer twice. Not quite my gig, but we saw them at Polaris for Ozzfest in 1999 and again in 2015 for Mayhem in Burgettstown. I thought they were good. Would have figured that Ministry would have been a decent opener for them. (Though weird to think of them opening for someone.)
