Do you mean in general or are you referring to 9 mm chambered ARs?

    I'm looking for a new one....either 5.56, .223 or 9mm is good with me.

Got it. I don't own an AR but I think I would get a Ruger SR-556 for piston driven or an FN FN-15 for a gas--operated gun.

Both are accurate, dependable and American made.

Chambering would be 5.56 as it is also safe to fire .223 ammunition in them.

(You probably already knew that last part.)

Would recommend established and reputable companies. BCM, Daniel Defense, Spikes Tactical are some quality names.

Yeah I can't wait to fire her. She was on sale for $209! I just ordered two 15 round mags from cheaper than dirt.

Be careful with those high capacity magazines. They will instantly transform the 10/22 into an assault -plinker.

Is 15 rounds considered high capacity?!

Depends on who you ask. Plenty of people seem to think that anything over six or seven is too much.

One of these days, I'm going to pick up a 10/22. I admit that I'm a little bit jealous.

    Enjoy it and stay safe.

  • BX25 magazines for the 10/22 are good investment if your state allows them

Excellent rifle to get new shooters or kids started on. Every experienced shooter I know loves plinking with the 10/22
