I just never connected with binaural. There are great songs on it. But when it came out, I wasn't in a dark place. It's a dark cd.
I'm a die hard fan from day one. I can remember hearing NAIS for the first time on a boat when I was out on the lake fishing. The radio station hyped it up all day. I was stoked to hear it. After it was done, I thought "I hope this doesn't kill their career." OR something like that.
As with many of the newer songs, I've grown to like NAIS and other sones from binaural. BUT there are certainly more songs I flat out do not like than any other pj album. (Inside job, slight of hand). On the flip side, grievance and light years are classics.
will myself to find a home, a home within myself we will find a way, we will find our place
Top of the bottom, for me. Just can't crack the Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, No Code and Yield ranks. My bottom five is, in order, Binaural, Riot Act, BackSpacer, LB and Self-Titled.
definitely not in the top 5 ....But a Classic .....Self-titled..........No Code..........Yield.......Lightning bolt.....and of course Ten........Vs. ......Vitalogy.......not way in top five.........its just that we have played the poop out of all these classics............
The actually album itself might not be in the top 5, the production doesn't always sound great. But I consider it top 5 because all the songs sound incredible live, and I love hearing them

Just! First saw the band on the binaural tour so through the bootleeg(Manchester 4/6/00) listened to the songs again & again , great headphones album too..

It's really tough tough the first 6 albums are classics and Riot Act is a good one too.......
Bottom 5. I love the Binaural and its only in the bottom because Yield, No Code, Vitalogy, Vs., and Ten are so fucking good
Exactly how I feel.
My thoughts exactly too.. and I love Binaural.

I exacly thought "I hope this doesn't kill their career." when I first heard Sirens. Even now, I just wish they'd never wrote that song.. Funny, eh? Oh, and Inside Job is not on Binaural
The No Code through Riot Act period was their most creative period IMO.

Bottom 5
It's a great record but it's Bottom 5 for me - actually bottom 7 as it's pretty much Yield, Riot Act, No Code, then everything else for me. It's got some great songs (NAIS is a top 5 PJ song for me), and I saw one of my favourite shows on this tour (Cardiff 2000), but as people have already pointed out they have other records that are better
