Probably #2 for me. I've never been able to rank them 1 through 10, but Binaural is certainly up there for me.

Its tough to say. There are different scales for different things.

As far as seeing an album live... I would definitely rank it above the 3 more recent releases and in front of Ten and Vs... probably Vitalogy. It would be 2nd for me in that case. I feel like we hear the high points of most of their 'best' albums regularly enough

As far as just straight up studio album... It would be ahead of the most recent 3... Dont think I can put it ahead of the 1st 2 or No Code. Its kind of a toss up between Yield, Vitalogy, Binaural, and Riot Act for that 4th and 5th spot. Depending on my mood

My favorite album in general, not only PJ.

I don't listen to the studio albums all that much so go mostly with the bootlegs, and Binaural is not one of the top 5 that songs that transfer live. I'd put it in the bottom 5 for sure.

One of my favorite records ever made. All the little intracacies and complexities make it a real enjoyable experience. It's their closest thing to a concept album. Either you get it or you don't i guess.

I'd expect you'd get similar "60% top 5" results if you did this for almost any album though.

Obviously not for the last two albums, and maybe not for Avocado (but maybe... it's definitely in my top 5 anyway). Otherwise, that's likely true.

Probably squeezed into the bottom of my top 5. When a new album comes out (eventually) I think it will sit in the middle separating my top 5 and bottom 5.

Doesn't come close to Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, Vs, LB for me, but sits ahead of Ten, Riot Act, Avacado, Backspacer. Not necessarily in those orders.

Binaural could just have Nothing as it Seems on it and I would still have it in the top 5. Maybe not better than Riot Act, but would trade the other three albums for NAIS.

It's a great album but is dwarfed by the power of Ten, Vs, Vitalogy, No Code, and Yield on my mind. I think the reason a lot of fans rank Binaural higher on their lists are the 2000 bootlegs. It's the first album that you could collect in 72 ways. That alone probably helps cement some of the songs on that album in to people's minds.

Great album, but still my #7.
I always wonder with these questions if there is an age factor to responses and all us children of the 70s will struggle to put the post-Yield albums in a top 5.

Is it weird that I'm happy they played it but pissed I wasn't there for it? It just makes me even more annoyed at the setlist for MSG 2. I was there. It was obviously awesome because it was PJ but fuck... The setlist was so goddamn boring and the next bunch of shows in Canada were incredible. I guess Ed feels like he has to play their better-known songs in NY because it's such a big market. I have to start traveling more...
