    Anyone in Chicago know any good local framers? Checking out some options and want to avoid Michael's for my next frame job.

    LOL. I just try to be reasonable with it. I've been doing 1 poster per month lately and am slowly filling up the wall space in my basement. I did make the mistake of telling her how much I could sell a couple of my posters for and she asked me why I hadn't sold them yet. I better hide my flat file...

    CMM framing in the West loop does great work and the owner is very helpful. Highly recommended!

    I've not even seen this poster before (it is pretty awesome, though). My recommendation would be at least a double mat, using the blue of the trees as one of the lower mats, and probably one of the reds (I would try to match the horizontal stripes on the shirt) as the top mat. I am partial to simple black frames, but a wood frame that matches some of the brown in the print would probably look sharp.

    Yeah not all wives. (In my house it's the husband). I too work hard and make my own money blah blah. I guess once you are married priorities shift a little. Especially when kids enter the picture. (Then they shift a lot as they should). It's all good though. If I ever complained that my hubby put the brakes on my poster framing it was really in jest. It's good to have a partner that helps to keep you in balance while you do the same for him. :peace:

    Not exactly local, but I have been using Hobby Lobby. They do a really nice job for very reasonable prices.
