even the first part of what you said isnt right. he said something along the lines of "we will be back, maybe not next year, maybe not here, but we will be back to seattle" whatever it was he said the meaning i got was they would not be at the gorge next year but would probably do it again sometime and would probably be in seattle next year0 -

However, I won't be selfish, I'd love for Pearl Jam to give the south some lovin so its ok if they don't stop back to Pittsburgh...but wow wouldn't that be awesome....0 -

My dream, even though it wont come true, is that they play st. paul again as a make up to the fans that did show support for them while they were touring with Tom Petty. I consider the folks that showed up for the Shared ticket shows as real fans. And I am sure that anyone can attest to these so called fair weather fans that only show up on a convienent night.
I am sure that I will recive a lot of flak for this opinion but f..k it!!
I hope that they come around this area again, but if they dont, I certainly wouldnt mind heading south for a show or two!!East Troy 10/08/00 St. Paul 06/16/03 Chicago 5/17/06 St. Paul 6/26/06 St. Paul 6/27/06 Lollapalooza '07 Bonnaroo '08

Unfortunately, I dont think The Big Man is up for touring too much anymore :(
His artificial hips are starting to show wear and tear from carrying all that weight ( he is the big man ) . Any full E Street Band " tour " is probably never going to happen again ( as we once knew them) . Maybe an occasional show or even handful of shows but i dont see a tour.
Can't say I see PJ opening for the seeger sessions band , either.
As far as more shows - The Garden would be sweet but please PJ stay away from jones beach
blechhh
if you have to play outside, consider keyspan park in brooklyn .For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

It seems every small venue show they play is incredible, and who wouldn't want to see pearl jam without all the suits and posuers? Just 2000 or so rabid finatics!
at $250.00 per ticket...? they gotta make money."I don't want to hear any splatty tongues!"

I don't have the boot yet, but I believe what he said was:
We don't know if we'll see you back here next summer, but we'll see you in Seattle.A mind full of questions, and a teacher in my soul
