  • Dude, if they ever did as you suggested and played the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (3x no less), I'd never go see PJ again as nothing would be able to top that for me!
I hope we get an end of tour blowout at Key Arena, 3rd US leg should go

    Opener: Steve Earle
    MSG x 2
    Philadelphia
Nashville (Ryman x3 ala San Fran last leg)
    Atlanta
    West Palm Beach x 2
    Miami
    Houston
    Dallas
    Albuquerque
    Phoenix
    Salt Lake City
    Boisie
    Seattle x2

This is all before they open the first leg of Bruce Springsteen and the e street bands final tour in the summer

I just want another date I can go to. I decided I'm going to either Boston, NYC, or Philly this time around. But another Pittsburgh and/or Buffalo show would be spectacular. :D

Small venue gigs would be nice, but for some reason I'm a huge fan of the large crowds. Just something about the energy that 20,000 people bring to a concert that is unmatched. I've only seen one theater show, the Allman Brothers Band, and I saw them at the Post-Gazette too. And the Post-Gazette was way more fun because of the size of it.

I disagree. I'd much rather see them there than MSG. MSG really blows. I don't know why people like it so much. The acoustics are horrendous and god forbid you don't have 10c seats in that place. In fact, even with 10c seats, you are probably going to be very far away. To the point where the band looks like ants. I'd much rather have them play next to the ocean and catch a nice breeze the whole show.

That's not true at all. I have season tickets to see the Rangers up in the 300s and they are really decent seats. I saw them play MSG II from up in the 400s and it was high but it wasn't bad at all. The reason why a lot of the bad 10c numbers got fucked was because the first show in 03 there was 7,000 10c members and the 2nd night there was 8,000 so yeah go figure. But I just said in another post that TM reduced it to only selling 10% of what the venue holds so in this case only 2,000 10c members will have 10c seats.

The sound quality at MSG is soso. Sometimes it's good and sometimes its bad. When PJ was there it wasn't bad. But when I saw Incubus the sound quality was horrible...yet when I saw Springsteen and Paul there the quality was really good.

But that's not the reason why we all want MSG...the reason is because the crowd there is always AMAZING and nuts!!

They are hitting the south around Feb/Mar of next year and the rumor is that they will end it by going up the east coast and end at MSG.
