They probably will have Pearl Jam popcorn + drink combos @ the HOB. Won't be surprised if every one in the audience will be taking home limited edition Pearl Jam Cracker Jack boxes.

I thought the House of Blues was a restaurant. Or am I thinking of another place.

Probably thinking Hard Rock Café.
House of Blue Orlando is a restaurant and music venue.
HOB in Chicago & Boston each have what's called 'the foundation room' which is separate restaurant from the concert hall. Both are considered part of the HOB.
edit: this could be the case for all HOBs, I've only been to the Chicago & Boston locations.
Past events I've been to at the HOB Boston have required a separate ticket for the Foundation Room on a show night. May be worth giving them a call to confirm if that is your plan.
Also, there are dozens of bars and restaurants in the area right around Fenway. You will have plenty of options to eat/drink before going in.
Yeah we have dinner reservations at 4. But if some one gets in line to get in around 5-530, event is 6-1030/11. Someone may get hungry between 5-6 hrs. So, just trying to see if anyway knows if they'll b anything in HOB, not "eat beforehand". I know to eat beforehand. Thanks

I would assume there will be no food at the screening. I have personally never seen food served / offered at the concert hall.

There is a difference between playing three full shows in a row and playing a few songs at a fan club only event in between two shows. If you go in expecting the band to appear and play 30 songs you are going to be disappointed. But 2 or 3? That is quite possible.
No, it's really not. You're grossly underestimating the energy and time it takes for the band to even just show up and play 2 or 3 songs. Yes it would be awesome, but after a full 3 hr-ish show Fri night, I'm guessing they will be as far away from HOB as they can get, to rest up and be ready for Sun and another 3hr-ish show. I will be there, and I will be SHOCKED if they turn up. It's incredibly UNlikely.

Your guess is as good as anyone else's. We'll see.
I would say lets respect the event being advertised. It must be a little deflating when you try to organize and event for the fans and they can't take it at face value.

I'm trying to figure out how 2,000+ people will be able to ask questions to 1 guy or even a couple if he has a team. Is he going to be pointing and saying " You in the red shirt". Will they pass around a mic so that questions can be heard from all? Seems like it could be a shit show.

At the PJ20 screenings at TIFF there were Q&As, and there were a fair few people in those auditoriums so they've organised similar before.

Anybody else just hopeful they have a merchandise stand so you can load up on posters/shirts/other goodies rather than having to wait in the normal stand line for hours the day of the show?

There will be a Pearl Jam merchandise stand right outside the HOB from 12pm to 9pm.
There was a rumor that Neil Young was at Telluride this weekend. There are always rumors.....
Funny story...a chick came up with her drunk asshole boyfriend near our group in Telluride and were trying to wiggle up to the front rail. He eventually got thrown out but she stayed because she said "Neil Young is definitely going to be here". She then said "this may sound stupid, but which one is Eddie Vedder? I want to get a picture." LOL
Congrats to all that will be there, no matter what it is!!!

There's a link to download the full audio in the Faithful thread, but in brief, he said it was an opportunity where the venue was made available to them and they had to decide what to do with it. Tim said they aren't in the event planning business, but knew people would enjoy listening/watching to the prior night's show. He also said explicitly that it was not a secret show. He laughed when he said the guys can do whatever they want, but that it was not planned to be anything other than what is advertised.
Can't wait to attend and hang out with fans and friends new and old.
