I can say I saw Clint Dempsey score a goal in person. I dig it.

Phenomenal day. The venue fucking sucked and was so unprepared

Was the security terrible? The clear tote bag thing is killing me
security wasn't too bad but that's venue to venue I think. No NFL stadium allows bags. There were a couple real long lines but we were able to walk a bit and find a quick one.

No preparation for a 50k crowd. Lines inside were beyond belief
Soldier Field wasn't too bad last week with the big crowds. But overall it feels like the preparation for this tournament hasn't been the best.

Sounded like a rowdy crowd in Philly last night. Should be another rowdy crowd in Seattle on Thursday for the QF....glad they ended up there. Should be a mostly US crowd no matter who they play.
Was an awesome day. Tailgate was great. Beautiful weather. So much to drink.

Lines for beer in the game were unbearable. Have been to plenty of eagles games and other events and the Linc and have never experienced anything like that. They clearly had a skeleton crew because of it not being sold out, but it was absurd.

As for the game. Was awesome seeing Dempsey score. Brooks played an incredible game. Was furious about how little the possessed, but I had no clue Yedlin got sent off. It could have been me being drunk but I don't think anyone around me knew. The ref was horrific and 6 minutes of extra time?!? My section was a good time. There as a big group a few rows in front of us that was rowdy, my group of 8 was pretty solid and there was a big group behind us that we had a great time with. All around a great day

Great game last night. Dempsey is just awesome. Brooks has been great this whole tournament. Jones, Bedoya and Wood are all out for the semifinal game. Bedoya being out is really going to hurt. Assuming Argentina will pound Venezuela and face the US. Going to be a tough one.

It was a really exciting game. If only it would have been played here instead of the other side of the country
We DO get Yedlin back for the Semifinal game though. Still, I don't wanna be negative, but realistically I don't see us beating Argentina, particularly with Messi on the pitch, especially down three of our starters.

Had a blast at the tailgate and the game. beer lines were definitely a drag. I left at the 40 minute mark to hit the bathroom and try to beat the halftime beer line surge. I didn't see yedlin get his card or get sent off either (funny that you didn't know this either -- probably not a coincidence after our aggressive tailgate -- haha). I was complaining the entire second half about how much the USA was sitting back. Little did I know they were playing a man down -- haha. people around me must have thought I was a genius.

Definitely a cool experience. I'd definitely go to another game if philly gets the national team again.

Big one tonight. Hard to see the US taking down Argentina, but you never know. Hopefully it goes the same way things went when US beat Spain back in the 09 Confederations Cup.

Hoping for a solid showing tonight. Not often we get to see the US play a team like this in a tournament, so pretty pumped.

Yep. Just don't want them to get embarrassed. I am pretty confident that they won't. Let's go USA!!!

Defensive pressure by Argentina is crazy. US is obviously not handling it well at all.

Is sucks watching the US - it's like watching a Ford Festiva trying to keep up with a Ferrari - not only today but in the World Cup a few years back too :(

4-0 isn't that bad to the best team in the world with the best player.

Agree. It could've gone a lot worse.

Still not happy with the result though. We were crap-er tonight than we had been.

If Argentina pressed, they could have scored 10. The US didn't touch the ball and had a grand total of 0 shots. Not good

Yeah. That was really bad. Didn't expect to beat Argentina, but that was just an awful performance all around. Turned the ball over so many times and so many heavy touches.

Bradley was especially bad.....it seems to be hit or miss with him. Wondo was exactly what you would expect Wondo to be. When your starting front 6 are all MLS players, things aren't going to work out too well against the best team in the world.

Worst loss since 2009. Only team in the last FOUR Copa tournaments to go an entire match without a shot. The best player in the world & his team made us look like rec leaguers.
