Roadies *update . One & only season ..

Don't miss the premiere of Roadies on Sunday June 26th at 10PM ET/PT on SHOWTIME. Roadies gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of “roadies” who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. The music-infused ensemble comedy series chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music's unsung heroes and puts the spotlight on the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring the United States for a successful arena-level band. Starring Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Imogen Poots.
Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly and Ron White star in the ensemble cast. Luis Guzman, Jacqueline Byers, Finesse Mitchell, Branscombe Richmond and Tanc Sade guest star. Created, written, executive produced and directed by Oscar® winner Cameron Crowe and executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Winnie Holzman.

Everyone does it for the music in the trailer for Cameron Crowe’s Roadies
By Matt Wayt
The first full trailer for Cameron Crowe’s Showtime series Roadies is every bit the warm hug that viewers expected. It’s littered with beautiful people offering their philosophies on life and music, showcases one or two outlandish moments—including Ron White brandishing a gun—to prove it doesn’t always play nice, and boasts a pleasant Eddie Vedder tune on the soundtrack. It all amounts to the notion that, sure, these characters are hopelessly unmoored, but such worldly concerns evaporate when listening to the music, man.
Here's hoping Pearl Jam comes to Roadies too.

Watch the Roadies Pilot now!
Happy Monday everybody. Showtime has made the pilot for Roadies available for free to anyone. Just a word of warning that some streaming platforms will be editing the episode for content (i.e. nudity and language). If you are a paid Showtime or Hulu subscriber it appears that episode will be uncut. Most likely this free episode is only available to stream in North America.

Roadies: Showtime – Rock & Roll, Sex and Firecrackers (Review) Life is a Carnival
"There is a stalker, Natalie Shin (Played with a delightful goofy madness by Jacqueline Byers.) who sneaks into the venue when Kelly Ann’s brother Wesley (Machine Gun Kelly) comes to cry on her shoulder. Wes has been fired from Pearl Jam by Mike McCready himself. "
"The series follows a tour of a fictional Pearl Jam-like group called the Staton-House Band but focuses on the nearly invisible folks behind the scenes who ensure that the fans and artists enjoy a smooth concert experience."
The first releases to come of the partnership ( REPUBLIC RECORDS & STARDOG RECORDS ) include the soundtrack for the highly anticipated Showtime series, Roadies — created by Academy Award® winner Cameron Crowe — as well as the full-length debut album from rising rock artist Reignwolf, who will also make an appearance in Roadies where he’ll preview his new single “Hardcore”.

Showtime to air documentary about real-life roadies before Roadies
Members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters sing praises of crew in Sam Jones' 'Miles to Go Before I Sleep'
by Dan Snierson • @dansnierson
The backstage crew is really getting some love from Showtime.
The network announced on Wednesday that two days before it premieres Cameron Crowe’s music series Roadies on Sunday, it will debut the 35-minute documentary Miles to Go Before I Sleep, which pays tribute to the men and women running around behind the stage making your concert experience possible.
Directed and executive produced by Sam Jones the film celebrates the relationships that musicians have with the road crew, with testimony from The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett, Jackson Browne, and My Morning Jacket’s Jim James. Miles will also show how the tour manager, guitar technician, front of house engineer and lighting technicians for Pearl Jam put together a stadium performance, and tag along with Hippo Campus as they go on tour.
Miles airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and a preview can be seen here. Jones’ previous documentaries include the Bob Dylan-focused Lost Songs: The Basement Tapes Continued and I Am Trying To Break Your Heart: A Film about Wilco.
Mike McCready is featured on a new alternate version of Frightened Rabbit's song, "I Wish I Was Sober," from the Roadies Soundtrack.
