Binaural: Where does it rank?

Bottom 5It's a great album but is dwarfed by the power of Ten, Vs, Vitalogy, No Code, and Yield on my mind. I think the reason a lot of fans rank Binaural higher on their lists are the 2000 bootlegs. It's the first album that you could collect in 72 ways. That alone probably helps cement some of the songs on that album in to people's minds.2003: 4/26 Pittsburgh, PA
2008: 6/20 Camden, NJ
2009: 10/28 Philadelphia, PA
2013: 10/22 Philadelphia, PA; 10/27 Baltimore, MD
2016: 4/20/ Raleigh, NC; 4/28 Philadelphia, PA; 4/29 Philadelphia, PA; 8/20 Chicago, IL0 -

Bottom 5Great album, but still my #7.
I always wonder with these questions if there is an age factor to responses and all us children of the 70s will struggle to put the post-Yield albums in a top 5.0 -

Top 5Is it weird that I'm happy they played it but pissed I wasn't there for it? It just makes me even more annoyed at the setlist for MSG 2. I was there. It was obviously awesome because it was PJ but fuck... The setlist was so goddamn boring and the next bunch of shows in Canada were incredible. I guess Ed feels like he has to play their better-known songs in NY because it's such a big market. I have to start traveling more...0

Bottom 5I just never connected with binaural. There are great songs on it. But when it came out, I wasn't in a dark place. It's a dark cd.
I'm a die hard fan from day one. I can remember hearing NAIS for the first time on a boat when I was out on the lake fishing. The radio station hyped it up all day. I was stoked to hear it. After it was done, I thought "I hope this doesn't kill their career." OR something like that.
As with many of the newer songs, I've grown to like NAIS and other sones from binaural. BUT there are certainly more songs I flat out do not like than any other pj album. (Inside job, slight of hand). On the flip side, grievance and light years are classics.will myself to find a home, a home within myself
