If anyone does need to sell your ticket to the show once it moves to the 12th, let me know. I would take a single ticket or pair. Can't afford what the resale prices I'm seeing. Thanks,

It's pretty crazy they can do that. My experience has been with the NHL, but I don't think I've ever seen a concert get bumped because of an NHL playoff game. They try not to schedule in too many concerts, and they're room to put the game a day before after a concert.

Is it only the NBA that wields this power? NHL is pretty sloppy with their scheduling in the first. In the regular season they give teams all sorts of days off then make them do back to back games. In the play offs they some teams start the 2nd day, have a 3 day off window. This was the first year I remember the second round starting before the 1st round was done. I guess that creates more flexibility with scheduling.

It has happened in the NHL as well but they have also played back to back games to make up for it in some occasions.

I guess I'm lucky i'm in Canucks country, it's generally not much of an issue here :)

It seems as though a lot of people are assuming that PJ hasn't been aware of this potential conflict since the tour was booked. I highly doubt that this scenario wasn't known to the band when the tour was booked. They have likely had the necessary contingency plans in place since day 1.

I'm a rabid basketball fan, and I feel extremely confident that neither of these teams is good enough (or fresh enough, coming off 7-game series) to sweep.

Heat in 6, PJ concert on 5/12.

I decided....not gonna reschedule flights if its moved...I saw 2 Philly shows, going to QC< OTT<TOR and if I miss one TOR show it won't kill me, I still have Wrigley. They aren't gonna go so far off book at last show that I"m gonna cry. I got so many great songs at 2 Philly shows I'm not even looking at MSG list. If I miss it oh well, what I'll be sad about is not sharing last show iwth my friends in Toronto...but oh well.

No way a second round sweep happens but I will hope for it. If not then I'll have to miss softball two weeks in a row!

I wonder what all you people hating on the raptors would be saying if it was your philly team or your New York team that bumped one of your pj shows in the last week.. And even if it does happen to be a sweep (which it probably won't), why is it everyone's hope that it's the raptors that get swept? Lotta hate for the raptors here.. As if they've done something wrong.. Pretty weird..

Raptors dominated Miami all year, by the way..

Basketball blows normally, it blows even more when it fucks with a scheduled event that is worth seeing. Fuck basketball and fuck the raptors.
