    Yep on rock bottom golf

My trip next weekend. Usually my first swing, lookin forward to it. Weather looks great, which honestly is killing some fun. Yes, it usually snows. Odd bunch, honestly post my best numbers this trip.

    Gilf, poker, drinking....always fun

    Gilf?!? Wow, you party hard...
    ^^^^

    I absolutely love this course
Yeah this course is awesome. Cool getting a look at a new course every once in a while. Players hated the course in Arizona. Maybe a few too many wedges but that's inevitable with how far these guys hit it

Having my morning coffee and watching...no wind and sunny. Come back to watch after a shower and wind is blowing super hard. May get those 400 yard drives on 12 again if wind is blowing right

Golf is in such a great spot right now. Hell of a win for Day after thinking he might WD.

The end of that tournament gets so boring though. Tuned in for the Rory/Day match up, which didn't really live up to the billing and didn't watch any of the final round. It's just so slow and bad TV.

    LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!

This course is pretty cool looking....

Couple questions if I may--what kind of drivers do you guys use? Stiff/flex shaft? Loft?

I got a used Cleveland 588 one last year (2014). Regular flex shaft. The pro at the range I go to suggested it for me. At the time I was still starting out and my swing speed probably isn't as fast as it is now. I feel like I hit my 3 wood TaylorMade SLDR better and further, sometimes even not teed up. It's a stiff shaft that I bought on my own a couple years ago before I met with the Pro. Just feel like I always hit the SLDR cleaner than my driver. Has that better sound, you know?

Anyway, thinking of upgrading the driver. Any suggestions? My friend said he heard the Titlelist 913 was good. I'm also fond of the TaylorMade's....

you should look at your swing first ... determine your swing speed, launch angle and spin rate ... that way you can determine what loft you need in your driver ...

i have been using titliest drivers for a while and won't likely change ...

Apparently The Masters app has Tiger listed as in the field....has to be a mistake.

Yea I saw that too..I guess he hasn't officially bailed yet. Maybe he will play?? During past interviews he repeatedly said how proud he was to finish 10th or whatever he finished that year after a long layoff. Could have won possibly if his approach on 15 didn't hit flag stick then go in water.

He's probably listed because he's a past winner (and not in his 70's)

There is a certain date you have to enter/not enter not sure when though. Actually if he does it too late it will cost the next guy up a spot which would be a dick move. Maybe he will play. Wouldn't shock me.

The website has him listed as an invitee but the app has him in the field. There is no way he is playing

Crazy how the guy still moves the needle, even with all the good players

Yep it would be great..no one really knows where he's at since he practices and plays on his own property. Actually Notah has the scoop I'm sure haha

Agree, no way he plays and I hope he doesn't attempt to play. That would draw all the attention to him which would suck because this Masters is wide open. So many guys could win this thing.

Go Rickie! That green jacket would look great on top of orange pants

I read somewhere there is no deadline to announce you are playing if you're a past champion. He could actually just show up on that Thursday if he wants to.
