Yeah, Rosa is pretty solid. A nice and refreshing summer beer. My wife loves it. Gotta support the local businesses! I used to live about a mile from Half Acre and was a regular over there getting growler fills....not as many brewery options in the burbs.davidtrios said:
love fist city!Indifference71 said:Revolution Fist City is my new favorite. Not sure how much it's available outside of Chicago, but check it out if you get a chance. A perfect pale ale that isn't overly hoppy and 5.5% so it won't get you drunk too quick.
Had a few Leinenkugel summer shandy's on the golf course on Saturday....nothing like golf and summer shandy.
have you tried their Rosa beer? A+0 -

Jai Alai is awesome. I drank a ton of that when I was in Florida for a week last year. Unfortunately, can't get Cigar City in Illinois.SVRDhand13 said:Yesterday I picked up some 120's, Raison D'Extra, a Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious and a six pack of Jai Alai.

Someone tell me more about this Romantic Chemistry IPA. Seems like mango/apricot IPA's are getting a bigger push this year. I've had a couple kinds of them so far and they were all delicious.
Speaking of delicious, but you probably wouldn't think it, this was damn good - if you're a fan of Old Bay, of course. Not even close to as gross you may think it may be.

I was with some people who had an apricot IPA last week and they hated it. I didn't try it.Jearlpam0925 said:Someone tell me more about this Romantic Chemistry IPA. Hmmmmm. Hopefully Pennsport Beer Boutique has this on my way home today.0 -
I found the Mango ones better. Can't for the life of me remember who they were from now - I got a mixed bag from Bottle Shop and they were all pretty good. I'm a fan of the floral, citric hops and they seem to work well. If you don't like that stuff then I can see why someone wouldn't like it.Cliffy6745 said:

That Dead Rise wasn't a matter of "Oh, I can have one or two", I found it definitely drinkable for 6+-ish. Then again, I have a problem...0 -
