Ok I'm sorry. But does the "lottery" part of it kick in when there are more entries than tix? Then they would pluck names and not just grant first priority?
Oh please let it rain today.

Have seen at least two more people on this board not including myself who were totally shut out of Fenway. Incredibly pissed off that people can win both while others win none. I get that there are no guarantees and its a random drawing but why not limit who wins until at least everyone ended up with a single pair? Seems like it would have been entirely feasible based on what people seem to be pulling.
That idea that no one wins more than one until everyone wins at least one (for any given single city) to be a great idea and totally fair. Seems like it should be possible for a computer algorithm to do that, no?
But you can't win if you aren't selected....? Right?
correct
Ok. Then how is it flawed?
Some think that if someone put in a 1st priority show and did not win it, and then someone got that same show as their 2nd choice, then when the ticket Info page indicates that they will award the 1st priority people with that show and if any tickets are left they will move to the 2nd priority. Given this theory, if there is more demand than tickets, no one should get that same show on their 2nd priority. But people also want proof that someone picked that show as 1st priority, and none has been posted, and so it's allegedly flawed.
I do understand that by all means. But we all agree you have to be picked before they look at your requests. So I don't see any flaws. Not everyone's name is drawn.
NO. we do not all agree how the lottery works.

I got reserved Night 2. Hoping to get tickets in the public sale for Night 1 on Friday (fingers crossed)!
What was your picks?
Reserved for Night 2 was my first choice; I got shut out of 10c tickets in 2013 because I picked GA first, so I didn't want to risk it this time. Reserved for Night 1 was my second choice, and I lost that one. At least I got something, I guess.

I didn't mean it like that, just clarifying. some think they have it down and some think it's still open to interpretation. no offense intended.

It's all good. I just don't think there is ever more tix than requests. But what Vedd explained maybe helped me lol. I just feel it's a lottery and you don't win if you aren't plucked. But some shows aren't high demand so I think I'm getting it.
Oh please let it rain today.
