    Shut out for Fenway 1 and 2 in that order 9:48pm. Was going to surprise a friend in Northfield Mass. by treating him to a concert. Not going to complain too much 10C, you know the system isn't perfect and you are trying. Many people got tix for both Fenway shows maybe try to correct that for next time. Also would have been better if I didn't have to wait till 9:48 eastern to get the "sorry" e-mail. An indoor concert I can be in the rafters (and was for the Hartford 2013 show) and that is fine with me. For an outdoor concert any ones I have been too if you are too far away it just does not sound as good. If someone from the fan club can convince me otherwise, maybe I will try for tickets on Friday general sale.

    Coming from Australia. Got Wrigley reserved one and two. Two bucket list items in one, Wrigley Field and Pearl Jam in the States. Missed out on Boston but hey can't wait for a week of a lifetime.

    Not complaining but membership is not what it used to be. I want season tickets at the 50 yard line to the Patriots, or half court for the Celtics. You know why I cannot have them? Because the people with those seats have been season ticket holders for 20 or 30 years. That's how seniority works in 99% of life.     Your membership is $40 per year. The cost of those season tickets is in the thousands to ten thousands per year, (as a Cubs season ticket holder, I know) and inevitably those people lost thousands of dollars per year while having those tickets in lean years. So not a good comparison.
    Yeah the membership pays for a presale, not an actual ticket.
    That was not always the case. I never got shut out of any show until the lotto system started. My 10c number is low enough that I would always get seats. Back before the online days you filled out a form with what tickets you wanted in the mail and then they started with the lowest member numbers and rewarded tickets until they ran out.
    That's not the case Marc, they never allotted tickets based on seniority. Posted a thread about it 2 weeks ago when others were discussing this and also misremembering. In the mail in days tickets were allotted based on when your order arrived in the mail at 10 club offices...

    My husband and I both went for Boston 1 as first choice and Boston 2 as second choice. He won for Boston 1 and I won for Boston 2. Hotel booked! Coming from California.
