Yea, skim back through...I posted about them.
    Will do.

We stayed at the Westin Poinsett last year and it was nice from what I can remember. I'll need to check if there are any within walking distance first.

Westin is about 3/4 of mile to Arena. It is a nice walk up main street. The two closest hotels to the arena would be Hyatt and the new Aloft. I'd say all the hotels in downtown greenville are within a mile of the arena. Going south to north on main street is an incline, fyi.

Yeah, I can't find any of the ones downtown.

I see Drury has a room. I stayed there in Orlando or .....somewhere one time.

    Any other ideas on downtown?

I got the Quality Inn, a couple miles south of the arena (I believe). I walk a lot, so unless the area is sketchy, I'm fine. A lot cheaper than the other hotels, and I could probably drive if needed.

Well, that side of the road is kinda sketchy. If you go down Augusta street it becomes old school high end area of Greenville. It is a pretty good walk from there to the arena and some decent size hills.

I would not recommend that Quality Inn. I've never stayed there but I can just give you my opinion from passing by.

Maybe look for something farther away if you want cheaper. Maybe off Pelham or Haywood Rd.

No problem. I think they remodeled it but when I lived downtown it seemed like the kinda of place where pimps and hoes hangout. Look for something off I-385 or I-85 if you don't want to go all in downtown is my suggestion.

I am a Hyatt diamond member and there is nothing available on points and no rooms available on the website. They will give me a room for $300/night though. Sucks because that location is perfect.

Is the Crowne Plaza walking distance? I have a f&f discount for any IHG hotel. That was only listed as downtown.

Negative, however, it is right off I-385 probably a few miles away. Near the mall and has a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse inside.

Here are your main selection of hotels...1) downtown 2) I-385 and Haywood Rd 3) I-85 and Pelham Rd.....ofcourse there are others...those are the main clusters though....getting around here is really easy, traffic is no problem except for the busy Woodruff Rd area but even that pales in comparison to most cities. There is a Embassy Suites that in on pretty nice golf course in the verdae area too.

Also not available on points. Are Pearl Jam fans extensive business travelers or something? There is a Hyatt Place 4 miles from the arena at 5000 points (I didn't know it even went that low). So cheap that it is worth staying there and paying for the Uber.

aloft hotels are pretty nice...I think they are in the Starwood SPG group!
Stayed in one in Jacksonville for the EV shows,
and one in Nashville for the Band Of Horses shows at The Ryman.
The rooms are a little small, but have great ergonomics...very contemporary design too!!!

Booked the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenville - Downtown off N. Main Street, it looks fairly close maybe a 3-4 blocks? Any info on this one?
