Everything downtown is sold out or over $300 a night at this point. Sucks because when i was first thinking of doing this trip downtown was around $150 and there were plenty of rooms. Will be staying about 3-4 miles away and probably take a cab in or something. Though I am keeping my eye open for rooms opening up.

Same here. I'd probably even pay the $300.

So, I guess the best way to avoid having to drive to/from the show/downtown is just to take cabs? Or is uber an option?? i've heard of it but not quite sure how it works or if the cost is solely based on miles, etc???

I read there is going to be a "Wishlist Pre Party"? I spoke to a bar owner today and he will have the pre party. Drink and food specials, Pearl jam on radio, giveaways etc. It is just a couple of blocks to the venue. How do I get in touch with the Pre Party folks? I have no problem setting it all up. Just so glad Pearl Jam in in my hometown again after 18 years! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Uber is a great option here. Plenty of uber drivers. If you have a friend who uses uber, they can send you an offer for a free ride up to $20. That's a good deal.

I live at a huge loft complex a mile and a half from downtown. They have a corporate apartment they rent out. It is 2 bed 2 bath loft apartment. Huge open floor plan and lines are included. Fully furnished. Just no shampoo and soap. I just called and it's available on 4/16. It's only 150 for the night. $100 security deposit. Whomever rents it signs the agreement for the night. I have lived here for 4 years and it's a great place. Pool, game room, workout room, grills etc. Let me know if you are interested and super responsible. Can't trash the place that's for sure. I can give you further details. Just trying to help fellow PJ fans. Thanks.

I am not sure if this is still accurate but the last time I was in GA, was I think New Jersey it really sucked that anyone who had a reserved seat could come into the GA section but the GA holders could not go into the Reserved seat sections and the GA got crushed after standing there thru some shit band that I will not name. There were fights breaking out and pushing and shoving it was out of control, I swore that was the last GA I was up for, of course I am 60 so that is different than most of you guys and gals. Just sayin'

I always love to hit the pre-party and visit with old friends and do the raffle for a good cause.
I hope there is one and if so I look forward to meeting you.

Scott - I might be interested in that loft apartment. When would I have to let you know by? I do have my tickets already via lottery. Also, great idea with the preparty. Pretty sure there's a bunch of us coming down from Detroit to catch this show - so please let me know any of the plans - we'd love to be involved.

This is definitely not the case anymore....not sure when the Jersey show took place you are referring to above, but GA gets a wristband and they most definitely do not let non-ga ticket holders down into the general admission area. I went to the Spokane show and the Denver show in GA last time around and it was the best. Everyone around me was perfect. Not rowdy one bit...in fact, I remember thinking they could have sold a lot more tickets on the floor. The back of the floor felt downright spacious. I'm not the type to sit at the arena for hours on end in line to get to the rail, the back of the was great....I couldn't recommend it anymore unless you need or like to sit.
