    Cville was a population of 45,000. College town in the fall..perfect..Hampton is over 100,000 in the spring by the ocean..different vibe but i think it will be sweet...

    it's not that close to the ocean. about 30mins, 1 hour with traffic. and the traffic is pretty bad here.
    if you're looking for good seafood 15 minutes off the north end of the boardwalk oceanfront, surf rider in little creek.
    looking for a kozy dive in hampton, look up The Barking Dog.

    I wonder why they are not selling the behind the stage seats. As long as there are speakers facing them, they are some of the best seats in the house. Super close to the band.

    old venue... built for concerts... 1/2 the capacity of most modern arenas... with legendary grateful dead performances in its history... 4 hours from my front door... with a room booked across the street...

    I think they're drawing most of the really big market cities first it seems like... Still TBD on ticket status. I only picked this show cause I thought the odds were pretty good and the venue looks awesome.
