    No. For me that's part of what makes these shows so special at MSG. It's filled with hardcore fans that travel great distances and by the time the lights go down, the energy is through the roof. Wouldn't be like that if it was only locals, and I am a local. Just my opinion. And I'll be stressing like everyone else to get tickets.

    The energy at msg when the lights go down is reason enough to go... and you're right, it's because of the hardcover travelers

    well i'd make no apologies for attending those shows. There is a legend around seeing PJ at the MSG. I wouldn't think a local fan is any more entitled than anyone else.

    There is a fan of this thread coming from South Africa....where is his local show? European fans arn't expected to have any local shows this year....so their option is to travel.

    I've done a bit of travelling for shows but for this time round I can't. So yea, I agree with you on hometown allocation. And I have to say I don't think it's reasonable to compare NYC & Philly demand to other places, except maybe Chicago. It's just freaking insane here.

    I live in San Diego and have been shut out at shows here. Not a big deal to me. There are always ways to get tickets. To me, half the fun of the shows is traveling and taking a vacation with friends and loved ones. If they come to Sd later this year, I would encourage everyone to come to this beautiful city. I'll get in the building one way or another! Just my thoughts of course.

    Better believe i'll be there for both shows, 10C lottery or not!

    I picked the first week of May for vacation even when 5/1 and 5/2 were just rumors (and Ben Folds on 5/4 was fact)!

    Just booked the flight for MSG 2 on may 2nd! I cant make it to night 1, but I WILL be there for night 2!!

    I didnt enter any lotteries for this show. I'm going single, so hoping to pull a good single on Ticketmaster, or find something from the kind folks here!

    PJ at the Garden is off the hook...i've went to MSG98 and 03 both nights. the place literally shakes. PJs first time in the MSG redo. Get ready!!!

    NYC shows are notorious for talking, not at PJ cause they come from everywhere. safe travels and see you there
