The only reason I know this guys name is because Kurt Cobain said it was a David Bowie Song before he broke out into the rendition of The Man Who Sold The World during Nirvana Unplugged.
Other than that I have no idea who this guy is.

Fitting post from a Trumphadist nazi like yourself. No wonder Bowie was afraid of Americans.

The saddest and most embarrassing fact at least for me is that he isn't American, he's Canadian. On behalf of Canada, we're sorry.
And I thought that BS poster on A Moving Train was bad. Not even he would stoop so low and I'm sure even he knows who Bowie is. Millennials know who he is ffs thanks to Zoolander, Prestige and Labyrinth.

Move away from the BS - that shit ain't worth it - to a class-act gent :)
*edit - not trying to tell anyone what to do, just suggesting that the negativity of certain folks is so minute in the scheme of things. Let them hold on to it if that's their security blanket.

    Meantime, let the children boogie.

He has taken over the UK chart. Almost 20 albums in the top 100 including Blackstar at No. 1

    http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart/

... and he has had 10 UK number 1 albums

So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I'm ever so happy I actually got to see him live once. It was great hearing all those songs I wanted to hear.

Not surprised at the chart. He's an icon like Elvis, Lennon and Michael Jackson. You better believe he'll sell posthumously. This is Double Fantasy in 1980 all over again and, to some extent, Roy Orbison's comeback in the late 80s.

My local music retailer sold out of Blackstar and most of the other Bowie albums were gone off the shelf. When I went to check out what albums were on shelf a woman was hogging that section for a while. A death always triggers buying. It happened when Lou Reed died at the same retailer.

Nikki Sixx was dead on about his tweet after Frey's death. The grim reaper needs to take a fucking break.

Obviously, you start with Labyrinth. I finally saw that movie a month ago on Netflix. There's even a new honest trailer for this.

EMP did a free screening of Labryinth last Friday, it was sold out when I went to go get tickets.
His costume is on permanent display in the Science Fiction area. Check it out if you are in the area.
