Ticket Lottery Strategy

Yeah, that's my fear based upon my semi-crappy number.lolobugg said:
It has def happened on previous tours. depends on your 10club #JDjr said:I've read here, and also before, that they may put 10c members in the reserved seats BEHIND GA - did this happen on the last tour? Only high 10c members maybe have a chance at sections 100's front/side stage? Torn here, as I'm sure I'm not alone, on whether to hedge my bets on GA or Reserved. Prefer reserved, but not if I'm behind GA. Aside from that, I am pumped!
Thanks! A lifer.0 -

This thread is the place to gaet an answer to this question:
I put #1 pick GA Ottawa / #2 pick GA Quebec..... then #3 pick reserved Ottawa and #4 pick reserved Quebec
His that the way i should do this to increase my odds to be at the show? Am i blurring my chances to have GA by entering reserved choices?

I have won tickets and has first row behind GA. Didn't seem that bad too me; but I am happy to be in the building.
A ?. If I am looking at two shows that are at 99% (still) is that a guarantee I will get tickets to both?06 Cincinnati

I am kinda of screwed though then. High 10C number, High Odds.. so I will get floor. That doesn't make sense wouldn't the members with higher seniority get the floor and not the stands?2005: Ottawa / 2011: Ottawa / 2016: Ottawa / 2022: Ottawa / 2022:Quebec City / 2024: Vancouver / 2024: Vancouver / 2024: New York City0

Crazy question - how many 10c members ARE there? I'm wondering what constitutes a "high" 10c number?!A lifer.0

my strategy is to not disclose it because your use of it weakens mine

Question: The odds, they only apply to 'first choice' correct?
If so, there is no point to select a show as a 2nd choice in which there is a high demand GA...Post edited by zarocat on1996: Toronto

Odds = Ticket pairs available / total entries

Love this discussion. First time using the 10c for tickets (or hoping to use it). Interested in both the Tampa and Lexington shows. If I am reading correctly from previous posts the reserved seats for someone with a higher number could be in the back of the arena?
What is my best strategy for entering? There is always the public sale too but feel like that will also be a crap shoot. I am thinking maybe I want reserved for one show and general for the other?
Any advice is appreciated!2003 Columbus, 2010 Columbus, 2013 Phoenix, 2014 Cincinnati, 2016 Tampa, 2016 Lexington, 2018 Chicago x 2, 2022 St Louis, 2022 OKC, 2022 Denver0 -
I too love this thread! Any advice for me?
I want to take my two daughters to the Toronto show. Obviously I can only get a pair at best through the lottery. Right now I have Toronto reserved seats as first choice and Toronto general mission as second choice --and the Greenville show as third choice. Obviously I'll get two tickets when they go on sale to the public and do the best I can with whatever 4 I get. Am I hurting my chances by having both choices in Toronto as one and two? Is having Greenville as a third choice affecting my chances in Toronto? I'm going to Toronto regardless and Greenville as well. Getting my daughters into good seats in Toronto is all I care about! I would even pay big bucks!! I'll be checking for any advice here-thank you in advance! See you on flip-sideI've got memories, I've got shit.0 -

Suppose I have Toronto as my 10th pick.
Do I have an equal chance to get it as somebody who puts it as their 1st pick?
If no (my chance isn't equal), what is my chance percentage, and what are the details in how my chance is determined?
If yes, (I do have an equal chance) why does 10C want to us to order our preferences?
I've never saw this explained anywhere, so it doesn't seem so simple to me.

I don't think you can say definitively either way. there is at least a chance, maybe a slim chance but it could happen.
from the info page:
