    The Martian

Really good. I think Matt Damon might get nominated for an Oscar.

Saw The Martian last night in theaters. Was great! Loved it. I read the book and convinced friends to come that didn't initally say they wanted to see it, but were gad they did afterwards!

It's weird Matt Damon was a stranded astronaut in interstellar last year that was presumed dead and that Jessica Chastain was also in that film

I'm sure this movie is very different, just kinda funny.

I'll see it sometime during the week.
The difference being The Martian is 100 times more scientifically accurate haha

Yes! Totally agree. I read the book, so I was a little weary of how they were gonna do the dialog, but they built up it up and it came out great!

^ The little kid in that movie annoyed me SO much. Also the ending was pretty disappointing in my opinion. I mean I liked the movie it just wasn't perfect.

Agree on both points. Better than It Follows, in my opinion, but not superb.

Halloween 4 & 5 back to back in 35 mm at the local indie theater.

I still think they aren't as bad as most people think. Least better than most horror films today.

That is actually awesome, I wish a theatre near me would do that. We are getting some good old horror movies showing in theatres here but only the first Halloween. I agree though the later Halloween films catch too much negativity, there are far worse carbon copy "horror films" that come out these days that people praise.

Last movie I saw was Pootie Tang....that was a mistake I couldn't finish it, one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. What is the point of having your main character speak so that you purposely can't understand him?!?

The Walk (in IMAx 3d) pretty good movie. Visual effects were cool. Joseph Gordon Levitt did a fine job portraying Pettit

    The Martian on Friday

Very Good Movie....liked that it had the humor working throughout. Great Cast.

    The Walk on Sunday

A really good one as well, had a good message and feeling not to play life so safe...to do what you want. Not walk a tight rope that high up, but to push boundries.

    Steve Jobs next week

I love doing the Matinee early Sundays this time of year. its only $5 standard movie, $8 3D....no crowds usually and my local theatre recently put in leather recliner seats, got a better sound system etc. I prefer earlier, less assholes talking the whole fucking time too

Didn't actually mean to watch it. Came on TV. I had shit to do. "One more scene and I'll go." Told myself that till the end credits rolled. Such a great movie.
