Dunkirk, and I saw it from a D-Box seat (where the seats move around in sync with the movie). I'd never tried D-Box before, and while it was weird for the first little bit, I very quickly got used to it, and it REALLY made a lot of the scenes more harrowing and exciting. It's definitely a much more immersive experience that just normal seats. I was really impressed with the effect, and I don't think there could have possibly been a better movie for D-Box than Dunkirk.
As for the movie itself... it's good! Nothing fancy, no superfluous content at all, no underlying romance story, no backstory ... it is really just a movie saying "here are some things that happened that day", and I thought that was a really nice change of pace for the war movie genre.

Back in the day... this was a great movie. CCRs Bad Moon was a great soundtrack piece.

Saw this yesterday.  Been a fan since the original so I enjoyed catching the hints about the original film and/or the next installment.

Sing (the animated comedy from last year) on Netflix.

It was ok.  first 2/3 of the movie weren't too good but last 1/3 wasn't too bad.

That was what was picked for family movie night this week.

Good lord and butter, did that ever suck!!! It reminded me of a guido wedding reception I suffered through at Russo's on the Bay in Howard Beach not too long ago.

My pick next. I'm torturing them all with E.T. again as my revenge. That's right. Cry, bitches. Your tears give me strength.

  • A good bit of Lebowski, last night.  It was on as I flipped around.  About 45 mins later I finally shut it off and went to bed.  Didn't want to see Donny die, again.
