Eddie Vedder - 2009 Hawaii poster (alternative version)

FeiracoFeiraco Amsterdam Posts: 255
Some years ago I obtained a beatiful poster of Vedder leaning against a palm tree. I understood that this version of Klausen was cancelled for the 2009 dates at Hawaii.

Does anyone have more details about that? Is that story true, and how many prints were released?

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, Brad explained that Ed didn't approve of the design (which is shocking IMO).
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

"Me knowing the truth, I can not concur."

You're correct. Ed went with this Volcom design instead.

Brad sold it as an art print - I believe limited it to 200 copies.

Absolutely love it and feel that it may have benefitted from being rejected, as its so attractive without any text on it at all

Art piece is much better then tour dates text on it.
An EV sig though on this would be pretty freaking sweet.

Thanks Demetrios for that url! That explains a lot.
In the discussions at the page most love the design, and some think it's too boring.
Personally I like classic posters with not too much fuzz.

I have been to Oahu once from Europe, and this poster brings some of the best things in life together!
