I know this is an old ass thread but let me get this straight... They're using something that hasn't been proven to exist to prove the existence of something else that hasn't been proven to exist. Alrighty then.

Although the text quoted seems to be pretty dumb for a textbook, the title is misleading. I couldn't gather that Nessie was used to debunk evolution from that. All it said was that Nessie could be a dinosaur, and in a separate quote stated that the book or school does not cover evolution. I couldn't make the jump to "Loch Ness Monster Used to Debunk Evolution."
The fact it had thirty-some students enrolled in the school at the time also tells you a little about the education of that school.
That being said I don't think its fair to make the claim that Christian schools use Loch Ness Monster as proof evolution is false.
