President Obama can't claim responsibility for the legalization of same sex marriage since it was te Supreme Court that made the decision. And most of the justices were not selected by President Obama.
Also she was NOT elected to do "gods work". She was elected to work for the people of Rowan County Kentucky. And as an elected official part of her job is to uphold THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES and as such uphold one of the major tennents of the Constitution. .... THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.
