And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs

I still dont understand why so many people think these are going to be junk LP's because they were pressed in Czech Republic.....? We haven't even heard or seen them yet.

Who's running Pearl Jam's Facebook page? The LP (vinyl) is not available @ the 10club store. The CD is.

I don't feel like that is what anyone is saying. The hope is that they will be perfect. It's just that we've had a bad experience so don't get why 10C would go back to them again in general. That doesn't mean they're going to necessarily fuck up this release.

Lol! I was thinking about that too.... I don't understand how a heatwave can halt production if they are such a great, huge company. What kind of facilities do they have that they can't keep running when it's 102F outside? Kind of strange... Surely a place that makes and stores vinyl has temperature control??

So, you're saying the Czech Republic smells like cow shit?

LOL I was going to reply with the exact same thing. Keep the windows rolled up if you ever drive through Wisconsin.

... as Czechoslovakia hasn't existed for 20 odd years then Wisconsin must be a mirage!

I need quick turntable help and don't want to start a thread, thought this may be a good place...

My turntable and set up typically sounds great. On a few records, I get some like static scuffing, not skipping or popping, a scuffi-ish sound that doesn't necessarily alter the sound, just background scuff as it spins. Thing is, I only get it out of my left speaker. Since it is only on a few select records, I'm thinking it is a vinyl specific issue, not turntable, receiver, speakers, or wiring? Thoughts?

Thanks to any responders, sorry for hijacking the thread!

Try recalibrating your counterweight. Also, unplug the TT from the power source and unplug and replug in the connectors into your receiver and preamp.

Maybe try increasing your anti-skate (since it's in the left channel, I think?). Some records need more/less and inner groove the same.
