    WhenI looked on a map, Punto Arenas is as far south of Santiago as Great Bear Lake in the Northwest Territories (think Juneau Alaska in latitude) is North of where I live in Calgary.

    There are some.cool videos of this road, people taking them from from the top of the double decker bus. Just google "bus from Santiago to Mendoza".

    I've had some life changes this year and can't fork the dough out for a trip to Chile as planned. Anyone want two GA (standing) tix - face value, of course - please message me. I contacted Punto Ticket and was told I can leave the tickets under another name ( I'll share all that correspondence). Cheers, yall.

    Thanks, man. Nothing bad, just planning a move to a different state and just spent a lot of $$ on another vacation the last few weeks. I was in Canada, btw. Banff, holy shit.

    Sweet! Just an hour and a half down the road. Banff is awesome, but I am a bigger fan of Jasper to the north.
    Glad you enjoyed our Rocky Mountains!

    Also, the Glacier National Park in Montana is unbelievable, just south of the border. Watertown and Glacier National Parks combined were the first "international Peace Park" in the world.
