Anyone know what the public transport is like for after the show?
Yeah I'd love to know as well, any locals with advice?
I really think I should be able to help you with this cause I live in Santiago, but I haven't been at the venue so I don't know the surrounding area. My partner and I have not discussed yet on how to get there, but I think taking a cab should be OK. They are black and yellow, and it's safe to hail them on the street.
The bip! card also works for the subway, but it's gonna be closed after the show, for sure. If you want to use the subway/metro while in the city, you can also buy tickets, but be careful because there are different fees during the day. You should check the timetables at the ticket office and ask for the ones you will need. I would advice buying your own bip! card or one for the group you are gonna be in.
Well, that's my two cents. I was waiting for someone who knew the area better to post, but I guess it's better to have an overall idea than nothing!
Cheers everyone, and I hope you have a great time here
So I guess you're leaving in about ten minutes huh Dimi?
Haha

I live in Santiago, fairly close to the venue, in case anyone needs help!!
Does Santiago have car services? I guess I am thinking about getting a limo or something to and from both Santiago and the BA shows. I am travelling halfway across the world and don't feel like getting stuck after the show. I figure we pay for a limo/Lincoln towncar or whatever and get them to come and pick us up after.
I drive a ford pickup so I'm not a douchebag or anything, just wondering if there are those kinds of services
Just landed in Santiago from Chicago by way of Panama City. Waiting to depart for Punta Arenas in an hour or so for a few days of Chilean Patagona exploration, but can't wait for the main attraction Nov 4!

Awesome! Have a great time. I just got to get through one more work day!
SO jealous of the folks heading to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego! But, I guess I can't be too jealous, since we decided to go to Easter Island, instead. One last day of work for us, and then packing, and then we fly on Sunday with an early arrival in Santiago on Monday!! Woo to the hoo!!
For those picking their tickets at will call, what time are you planning to line up? Heard the doors open at 5pm, tickets supposedly will be delivered just two hours before the show, the show is scheduled to start at 9 pm ....
so this is the thread where all the high rollers hang? kaching!!
We expect a certain level of decorum in this thread. There are plenty of other threads that you can take your woah is me posts too. Come back in a few years after you get a job and a bank account, or numerous credit cards funding an over extended lifestyle.
Just check in at Athens Airport Seeya in santiago..in lke 30 hours!!!!

So who's got the lowdown on how food and beverage is at the stadium? Easily accessible from GA? Will GA be like a whole size of a futbol field minus the stage...?
Hey guys, not long now. We are flying from São Paulo, Brazil, and will be our first time as a Ten Club member. Are you guys meeting before the concert for a few drinks? We would love to meet before if you guys are up for it.

I guess one could algo see on Google maps which bus ("micros") options are there to and/or from your specific hotel. Google works nicely together with the public transportation system in Santiago (Transantiago), so it should be easy. BUT, if you plan to use micros here, you need a bip! card, which you can get at any Metro station, or at some stores with the bip! sign. This is how it looks like: https://www.google.cl/search?q=tarjeta+bip&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=947&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIr8P4i6nmyAIVhICQCh1h5gTM&dpr=1
