Hando. On YouTube. I was shocked that there's full length movies from the 50s-60s on there.

Saw 'Ricki and the Flash' with my mom last night. Good mother/daughter movie. Cute, nothing amazing, but a fun Friday night out.

Hot Pursuit (1987) - Not that awful looking Reese/Vegara movie, but the John Cusack movie with Ben Stiller in his first role...and as a villain! Robert Loggia steals the movie as an eccentric sailor. Here's a strange coincidence. The current one opened exactly 28 years to the day the Cusack one opened. You can't make this shit up.

Permanent Record (1988) - Teen drama with a pre "Ted 'Theodore' Logan" Keanu.

Hannie Caulder - Revenge western with Raquel Welch, Robert Culp and Ernest Borgnine. It was an influence on Tarantino when he made Kill Bill.

10 To Midnight - Another schlocky Charles Bronson Cannon film. Can't believe this is from the director of Guns of Navarone and the original Cape Fear ffs.

    It Follows

I kept hearing about how great this movie was and how it was a new twist on horror films, etc.

First of all, it's not a new twist on the genre. Same concept as the Final Destination franchise, but instead of freak accidents it's a shapeshifting apparition. But yeah, you have to pass "it" on to another person then "it follows" them around trying to kill them. And if it does, it goes back to the next person down the line, etc. I guess the twist is only the victim can see "it."

Second, most of the movie was just kids sitting around waiting for the fucking thing to appear. It appears & they run away. Hardly any dialog otherwise.

Third, I guess parents and law enforcement didn't exist in the town.

Lastly, the ending sucked. Just another abrupt, ambiguous ending. Like they had no idea how to tie the story together. It wasn't even a cliffhanger or a segueway to a sequel, the fucking thing just stopped.

At least the lead actress was cute. And I read somewhere she's a competitive kitesurfer & she's actually pretty damn good at it. A few podium finishes. That fact alone was more interesting than this movie.

    Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

Pretty awesome. Car/motorcycle chase scenes were insane. Also very funny and decent plot.
