To be honest, I could care less about polls like these. I was just in it for one thing. As far as i'm concerned the game was over after knocking out the Grohl band.96 - Ft Lauderdale

The way they just took off and how the divide keeps growing this wide.. it screams to me that there is some computer type dude on their side running a script. It's really not hard for a computer script to open up a web page and click a button. You put a timer on it to run once an hour all day and night... and if you run it through some proxy servers to change the IP address each time and then it can vote a bunch of times.. once an hour all day and night.
I think its kind of pathetic that someone would do that for an online poll but given how easy it would be for someone to do.. it clearly looks like that is what is happening in this instance.0 -
Aren't the PJ fans doing what the X Japan fans doing? Voting multiple times to get their favourite band as the winner?
PJ is obviously a better band, but I must be missing something here. Why the venom spit at opposing fans for doing fan things? Would it be fair for RHCP fans to essentially call PJ fans a bunch of dorks for placing some energy into advancing their band?"My brain's a good brain!"0 -
Yah it's why voting systems that allow multiple votes aren't entirely fair. As I've mentioned in previous votes it's more about the tenacity of the bands fans than any kind of authentic result. It still sucks to see PJ lose, but X Japan must have a super hardcore fanbase to get the kind of voting they do.Thirty Bills Unpaid said:Aren't the PJ fans doing what the X Japan fans doing? Guys they're smarter than us. They've obviously got that shit automated. I can't even remember to go vote every hour. We still got some time though. I would of thought it was automated if it wasn't for the fact the voting wane's while it's night time in Japan. If it was automated it wouldn't wane?ldent42 said:Guys they're smarter than us. Haha, that's true. PJ have a huge contingent of disdainful hipster fans. I bet X Japan have none.igotid88 said:we could win if some PJ fans didn't

Do you think PJ thinks this is beneath them since they aren't posting about this on all of their social media accounts?igotid88 said:we could win if some PJ fans didn't

According to their youtube channel they still only have 9 studio albums, lol.Zod said:With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
Their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts post something just about everyday. Sometimes multiple times a day. They just aren't posting about this, even after people have emailed Ten Club asking them to, because it doesn't matter. I've voted one time each round, if that's not enough, oh well.Zod said:6/29/98 Chicago-United Center

I was wondering this myself. I don't know enough about IT stuff to know how it works...if it could run continuously (as was said, wouldn't the voting be continuous then?)Come Back in Black said:The way they just took off and how the divide keeps growing this wide.. it screams to me that there is some computer type dude on their side running a script. Just saw this on the Clutch fb page, and it kinda lends to the theory....

you now need a captcha to vote.
fuckin loudwire is probably going to keep doing these non-stop now, because we've all been racking up the page hits for them. Can we all agree to not participate in the next one? I've been voting but it's seriously getting annoying seeing it reposted every five minutes on fb.
(ps - go vote for clutch)

I think it's that most of us are adults and realize that an online poll really doesn't matter. It's 2015 for crying out loud.igotid88 said:we could win if some PJ fans didn't
